Hey everyone! Hope you’re all excited to have a little surprise post on a Tuesday this week! The reason is that this is a special colab, a style swap, with one of my great friends Mady! She has an amazing blog where she shares fashion and her love of books and writing. You will find musings on life as well as killer reading recommendations – I highly suggest checking her out.
Today we are doing an exciting “style swap” essentially I styled Mady and she styled me. We both have very different styles and you may find yourself gravitating to one – and that’s totally ok! We both have a passion for supporting women and letting everyone wear what they feel comfortable in! Hopefully you’ll like these looks!
Mady and I are both college students and we wanted to show off our college gear; you can tell from this photo alone our styles are very different! I would say Mady is very proper: she wears classy clothes that fit well.
Without further ado, let’s see how I styled Mady! First, I put her into some “mom jeans”! Hers are from Pac Sun, but mom jeans are everywhere. Here’s a really cute pair from Asos that aren’t too expensive.
I then put her in a button up shirt that I got about a year ago from Urban Outfitters. It’s not as structured as I would have liked, but it served its purpose. This one from Madewell is really nice, although it is a bit pricey. If you’re looking for a cheaper alternative, this one from Old Navy is nice (although you lose the stripes).
The last little touch is a pair of Adidas tennis shoes. Honestly any tennis shoe would work, I just personally like white!
If you’re curious how Mady styled me, head over to her blog and check out her post! It’s definitely out of my comfort zone, but I guess that’s the point of a style swap! To check out my last post, click here. I hope you all have a fabulous week and I’ll see you again next Wednesday!
